This life of mine

I am just another passing life.
From the dirt I rise, in the dirt I shall fall.
I spy with my pale eyes, this world so bright.
I’m crawling from the dark, into the light.
Like a lone candle flame in a windy evening,
I glide, I bend, I bow.
With every passing moment my light grows strong.
I’m a dancing blaze, the wind is the song.
Alone I walk past my memories, many to cherish, more to make.
I dream of wild nights and starry skies.
I see it all when I close my eyes.
